Natasha Pedro-Petty, B.A., M.A., BCBA - Part-time Senior Verbal Behaviour Therapist

Natasha graduated in 2006 from McGill University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She then returned back home to Bermuda and began working at Tomorrow's Voices upon its opening. Here she received overseas training on the methods of Applied Behaviour Analysis and Verbal Behaviour. After 3 years she pursued and received a Masters degree in September 2012 in Special and Inclusive Education from the University of London, Institute of Education. During this time, she worked on home-based programs as well as providing support to her clients in mainstream school settings.  In 2015 she received her BCBA certification.  "The families and clients that we work with remind me daily of why I got into this field. Jahnae Harvey, B.A., B.Sc., BCBA - Senior Verbal Behaviour Therapist

Jahnae obtained a B.A. in Psychology and a B.Sc. in Speech Pathology & Audiology from West Virginia University. She also received a minor in Disability Studies. While an undergraduate student she did her university capstone project at Tomorrow's Voices. This experience narrowed her interest in Psychology. She has recently completed her courses towards her M.A. in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Melissa Myer, B.S.W. - Verbal Behaviour Therapist

Melissa graduated from the University of Windsor in Canada with a bachelors degree in Social Work with Honours and a minor in Psychology. She was then trained in ABA and Intensive Behavioural Intervention. She began working as an intensive ABA therapist in Vancouver from 2009-2011 and continued in the same field of work in Toronto from 2011-2016. Melissa has years of experience working with individuals with ASD, by implementing individualized learning plans and behavioural protocols. Vurnell2

Vurnell Smith, B.Sc., M.Sc. -  Verbal Behaviour Therapist

Vurnell joined Tomorow's Voices in 2017.  She completed her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Derby in 2013 and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Walden University in 2017.  Vurnell first gained a passion for helping others while volunteering at KEMH and MWI. While pursuing her Bachelors she obtained a job as a Junior Behavioral Therapist working with children on the autism spectrum. Vurnell expressed that this experience was challenging but was also very rewarding being able to see children develop social, independent, and communication skills.  As a requirement of her Masters Degree, Vurnell completed an internship at The Department of Court Services. She gained experienced with working with The Mental Health Treatment Court and The Programs Team. She was able to witness the challenges and achievements of the forensic population and individuals with mental health problems. Currently, she is working at Tomorrow’s Voices as a Junior Behavioral Therapist and is in training to become a Verbal Behavior Therapist. She also works at Solstice as a therapist doing Lego Club with children. Gabriella Shorto, B.Sc., M.Sc., MBPsS  -  Part-time Junior Verbal Behaviour Therapist

Gabriella joined Tomorrow's Voices in 2017.  Gabriella graduated from the University of Nottingham (UK) with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology and M.Sc. in Rehabilitation Psychology. She is a graduate member of the British Psychology Society and has undertaken additional introductory training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy, solution focused approaches and Acceptance & Commitment therapy. She has had experience working with individuals with a range of difficulties, including brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, mental health difficulties, learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions. Prior to joining Tomorrow’s Voices in October 2017, Gabriella worked in the U.K. as an assistant psychologist, initially in intensive residential brain injury rehabilitation and then in residential education services for children and young people with an Autism Spectrum Condition and additional comorbid difficulties. Gabriella returned home to Bermuda with her husband in 2017 and is glad to be able to work with children in our community to support them as they develop and learn.  She can be reached at This email address is being protected from spambots.
