Tomorrow's Voices 8th Annual "Bounce For Autism" Fun Day

North Village Field | 2pm - 7pm | Cost $12 pp (Age 2 and over)

Free access to up to 13 Fun Castles for a day of "BOUNCING".  The Day will include bouncy castles, water slides, Live Entertainment, DJ B. Roc, MC Qianemon, Live Wires, DanceSations School of Dance, For Gods Purpose Dancers, Face painting, Bouncy Races, Dance Competitions, Raffle prizes, Autism Awareness Activities and information and much more!  

All funds raised from the event will go into the sustainability of Tomorrow's Voices as we provide services to children and their familes touch by autism.

“Natural Environment Teaching - Play, Daily Living & Leisure Skills" -  We Can't Have All Work and No Play!

“When motivation is present, research has indicated, that individuals are more likely to acquire or be interested in learning new skills.” Some individuals may have a small bank of motivating items/activities to pull from. This workshop will go in to detail about how to establish items/actions as reinforcing leisurely activities, how to teach individuals how to appropriately play, and how to teach new skills through the use of play to individuals within a naturally occurring setting. This workshop will also discuss daily living skills as these are activities that would happen in the natural environment setting for older learners, as opposed to play.

During this workshop you will learn about Natural Environment Teaching and how to implement some of these strategies in your everyday encounters.

The programming includes centre based fun and therapeutic activities along with community outings and exploration.

Our Social Skills group also functions as parent and caregiver respite. While parents and caregivers are encouraged to join in with our Saturday Social Skills outings, they are also encouraged to use this time as respite to either get some much needed rest or perhaps take time to run a few errands.

Join Tomorrow's Voices as we host the 25th Annual City Tree Lighting Ceremony in partnership with the City of Hamilton. The event will take place on Friday, November 29th from 5:30pm on the step of City Hall.

The night themed "In Celebration of those with Autism & Exceptional Abilities in the Community" will be MC'd by Qian Dickinson of Bermemes and will host performances by Mitchell "Live Wires" Trott, Chelsae McNorton (Bermuda Idol 2019 winner), Dakota Tucker (Teen Idol 2019), Rickeesha Binns, The Royal Bermuda Regiment, DanceSations School of Dance, The Bermuda Jump Rope Federation and The Portuguese School of Bermuda.  There will also be a special visit from SANTA!

Tomorrow's Voices will host a booth during the evening with snacks, soup, hot chocolate and fun autism awareness toys on sale to raise funds for the charity. 

We look forward to seeing the community come out to enjoy this special night. In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.
