A recent review of scientific studies found that children with autism are five times more likely to have mealtime challenges such as extremely narrow food selections, ritualistic behaviors and meal-related tantrums.

Given the importance of diet, we invite you attend this training to learn more about the connection between autism and picky eating, some factors that are involved in the cause and maintenance of this pattern of eating, as well as behavioural strategies to help address eating issues.

In ABA, data drives all the decision we make, and we use data to determine if a goal is mastered, when to add new targets, and when to change teaching procedures to make greater progress. Please join us for this important training where you will learn about choosing from a variety of data collection methods based on the type of behaviour you are observing and the kind of behaviour change you are expecting, and how to use this data for effective teaching and learning.
